The Read Write Think web site and mobile app are amazing K-12 resources for teachers and students. Teachers will appreciate the Common Core aligned lesson plans and the Literacy in Action video bank, featuring short presentations on topics like choosing a complex text and using text dependent questions.

How To

The Read Write Think site is organized and very easy to navigate. Let's use Student Interactives as an example. The Student Interactive features allow students to create their own project within the web site or app. Starting at the homepage, choose Classroom Resources and then select Student Interactives. A menu will appear on the left side of the page. Here, you can refine your search to drill down to the results you desire. An overview and lesson plans accompany each interactive.

Applications for Teachers & Students

Read Write Think apps are available for iOS (Apple products) and Android. This is a screen cast created by Joyce Valenza of the Trading Card Creator app.


Your students will NOT need to create a log in to use the interactive features of the site. Students are able to save and edit, email or print their work.
